The University of Nottingham Triathlon Club has established itself as one of the biggest and most successful university clubs in the country.
With British Triathlon accredited coaches as well as access to world class facilities, the club is aimed at everyone from complete beginners to elite athletes.
University of Nottingham Triathlon Club strive to offer students of all ages and abilities the opportunity to maximise their athletic potential through regular and structured training.
They will support you whatever your personal goal, from simply building a bit of fitness and competing in your first sprint all the way up to qualifying for Kona!
The club takes part in three BUCS races a year, as well as a number of local and national events, giving all members an opportunity to represent the University.
University of Nottingham Triathlon Club runs their own training camp in Majorca, and are proud to host the Notts Triathlon (formerly Notts Varsity Tri) each year, as well as a number of other events, including both our GoTri and Aquathlon series.
On top of this, they hold numerous coached training sessions every week as well as fortnightly socials.
University of Nottingham Triathlon Club hold 13 training sessions a week for members. These sessions take place in a relaxed, social environment and are not compulsory, so members can attend however many they wish. The sessions are either coached by our coaching team, or developed with them in order to achieve maximum benefit for all athletes. There will be 6 exclusive sessions for Performance Squad Athletes within the club.
The club offer a number of opportunities for trips within the club. Each year, they organise two training camps, open to all club members, as well as open water sessions and trips to BUCS events.
